The ideal candidate is an experienced leader proficient in learning management, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight, with strong skills in staff development and student engagement.
Salary: $80,000-$110,000 DOE
Location: NW Houston, TX 77095
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all operations for school including student and staff engagement and TWC compliance.
Oversee support staff and train new employees.
Manage students of different types: onsite, online.
Manage Canvas curriculum/documents software.
Field student questions about enrollment, graduation, grades, attendance, absences, etc.
Ensure compliance with TWC rules and regulations and prepare for audits.
Interact with web design team to update website as necessary.
Maintain student files so as to keep track of graduation milestones reached.
Plan and execute visits to high school career days and the like so as to bring in more students.
Coordinate and lead an annual meeting of the Advisory Board, as required by the TWC.
Maintain files and records so as to know which students need to be put on academic probation or re-do a particular class or quarter.
Keep track of Continuing Education requirements by the TWC for teachers, admissions director, and school director so as to remain in compliance
Meet with school owners regularly to discuss important issues that affect the school and its growth and reputation.
Keep track of employee hours, including student Teacher's Assistants.
Order office supplies.
Input school finances into QuickBooks, pay rent and school bills and provide financial documents to CPA.
Requirements: 7+ years of experience in a similar role
Comfortable speaking with students, staff, and the general public
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
Proven problem-solving skills
