Overview:
Bennett Tax & Accounting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to join us as a Partner Level Tax Preparer. This is a leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in guiding our tax preparation team, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the tax preparation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tax regulations.
Provide expert guidance and support to team members, including review level preparers and junior staff.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax preparation workflows and enhance efficiency.
Serve as a primary point of contact for high-level client interactions, offering tax planning and consulting services.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to the team and clients accordingly.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
Requirements:
Valid and current license as a tax preparer, CPA designation preferred.
Extensive experience in tax preparation and consulting, with a strong track record of leadership and client service.
Deep understanding of complex tax issues, including individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring and coaching team members to achieve their full potential.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and other relevant tools.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (required), advanced degree preferred.
