Job Description Job Description My client seeks a CFO with experience in the manufacturing industry. Your talent will lead accounting operations and provide financial vision for business decisions. This is a pivotal role within an impressive privately owned company that has a legacy of success.
Full-time work is performed onsite in Knoxville, TN. A local candidate is ideal for this permanent job, but candidates desiring relocation will also be considered. Earn annual salary in the range of $175k-$200k. Benefits, PTO, 401k (with match).
Enjoy performing a variety of responsibilities, for example:
Orchestrate accounting/finance operations (such as AR, AP, GL, budgeting, modeling, cashflow, forecasting, controls and metrics). Oversee direct reports, ensuring that technical accounting is accomplished effectively.
Oversee accounting policies and procedures, in accordance with GAAP.
Manage the closing process (month, quarter, annual).
Produce accurate, timely financial reports, as well as ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives.
Drive profitability. Analyze data, identify trends, provide insights to guide business decisions.
Direct the complexities of compliance, insurance, audit, tax, etc.
Collaborate with inter-company operational teams to align financial objectives.
Qualifications:
Degree(s) in accounting, finance, or related field.
Public accounting experience (preferred).
Experience (and passion) for Manufacturing.
Banking wisdom, pertaining to treasury management, lines of credit, cash flow, risk management, etc.
Skilled at contract negotiation, such as insurance and benefits.
Operational accounting knowledge.
FP&A expertise.
Audit strengths.
Management experience.
Command of technology, including Excel and ERPs.
Accurate. Organized.
Self-starter. Solution-finder. Deadline-achiever.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).
