Description
Deliver a business-relevant, secure and resilient ICT environment, and provide trusted technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise and escalation within the ICT team.
Monitor and maintain the infrastructure landscape to ensure up-time and availability.
Update and upgrade systems to maintain performance and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Lead the design and development of technical solutions in response to business requirements, including requirements discovery, options analysis, design/ build, and transition to support.
Liaise with NIOA's service providers to ensure aligned technical solutions are with NIOA's ICT objectives and architectural principles.
Identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies and their potential business advantage
Interact with internal and external stakeholders at the technical level, as required.

Position
IT Systems Administrator
Position Requirements 6+ years experience in a Systems Administrator / IT Engineer role, administering modern and secure server / desktop / network / enterprise apps / as-a-service technologies, e.g. Windows 10/11, Server 2016+, Azure, Intune/MEM, M365
Experience in a medium to large organization (200+ staff), ideally in the manufacturing industry, is highly desirable.
Experience in the Defence industry, or similar security / compliance orientated environment, is highly desirable.
Formal certification in IT or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
Strong working knowledge of security concepts and technologies.
Occasional travel may be required.
Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
