Maintenance Manager

Manpower is assisting a premiere manufacturer near Windsor, CT in hiring a dynamic maintenance manager who is skilled with implementation, six sigma lean processes, Allen Bradley system, and building a strong maintenance team. This role offers 10-15% yearly incentives, great benefits, and a relocating package if necessary.
Key Responsibilities Include:
>Effectively hire, train, manage maintenance team
>Experienced with implementation and process improvements
>Able to utilize SAP and Allen Bradley PLC
>Set schedules to maintain proper production coverage and to maintain preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
>Maximize existing PM Software Tools or recommend new PM software which will support strategy of cost effective, reliable, ease of use and integration capability with current software in use.
>Ensure all maintenance KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and particularly those dealing with controllable maintenance budget, maintenance labor productivity, plant services cost per case (water, electricity, gas), R & M cost per case etc. are fully tracked, reported at agreed time intervals while meeting and exceeding standard plant requirements.
>Review scheduled and preventative maintenance documentation and assign work orders as required avoiding production downtime. Maintenance work order planning to be used as a valuable tool to measure individual mechanic productivity rates and support future mechanic training initiatives.
>Set standards of involvement with maintenance personnel to reduce downtime during production.
>Determine need for and schedule subcontractors
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
