*We are recruiting for a per diem, as needed, Occupational Therapist to join our skilled Rehabilitation team in Northfield, NJ.*

*As a member of our pediatric* *team, you will be responsible for:*
* The Occupational Therapist is an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21
* Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association
* Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes.
* Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines.
* The OT plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of physical skills, play based activities, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, and cognitive abilities.
*The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:*
* MA/MS/MOT in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program
* NJ OT licensure or eligibility for licensure
* Professional post graduate pediatric experience required
* Experience with treating sensory processing disorders in an outpatient setting preferred
* Experience working with neurological and vestibular diagnoses preferred, however, willing to train
* CPR certification
* Strong organizational / time management skills
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work well as a team member
