We are looking to hire a Project Scheduler for a 12-18 month project with our Industrial Manufacturing Group in Avondale, LA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Planning and execution of projects within the Industrial sector.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Developing and maintaining project schedules using industry-leading project management software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements and objectives.
Coordinating with project managers and team members to gather project data, update schedules, and identify potential risks and delays.
Monitoring project progress and provide timely reports and updates to stakeholders, highlighting any schedule deviations or critical path impacts.
Conducting regular schedule analysis and identifying opportunities for optimization, resource allocation, and process improvements.
Staying up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in project scheduling and management within the Industrial sector.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably within the Industrial industry.
Proficient in using project management software Primavera P6.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify schedule risks and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
All candidates agree to complete an assessment for selection and pre-employment drug screen.
