Job Description:
Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance of Retirement product, working with more senior Product Managers in developing product plans, strategies and enhancements, and performing data collection and coordination activities.
As the Merrill Small Business Online(k) product manager you will be leading and responsible for managing the end-to-end product life cycle, including conducting market research and competitor analyses, manage third-party vendor relationship, developing short and long-term strategies, identifying innovative opportunities to modernize the product offering to deliver a more unified client experience, while adhering to the Product Risk Management framework. Job expectations may include ensuring that product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, third-party vendor management, and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily management of the Merrill Small Business Online(k) product with a focus on product competitiveness, client experience, risk & governance, field support & training
Strategic day to day relationship manager between BofA and third-party vendor
Manage product-specific vendor contracts.
Manage product feature set.
Conduct competitive analysis and manage product enhancements.
Manage Product specific marketing materials (MyMerrill and Online Resource Center)
Manage annual reviews and updates to Policies & Procedures
Manage the product's digital experience on MerrillEdge.com and BofA Solutions finder.
Manage sales, operations, and vendor specific escalations.
Responsible for product reporting
Lead the implementation of short and long-term strategic initiatives for the product.
Accountable for ensuring the product is following the stated product definition, and the third-party vendor is achieving their expected service levels.
Accountable for documenting & managing key performance indicators for the product.
Manage and resolve key business & product issues as they arise.
Manage and own product-specific vendor contracts.
Manage key projects & drive strategic growth initiatives.
Required Skills 5+ years of financial services experience
Retirement industry & financial product knowledge
Able to communicate effectively across both internal & external stakeholders
Desired Skills: Knowledge of business process and sales growth techniques
