The Florastor Marketing Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy, developing compelling and breakthrough messaging and creating an impactful innovation pipeline, to help us achieve our objectives and strengthen our positioning in the minds of consumers and customers. You will use your expertise in brand and communications planning to chart a new course for our creative partners by translating data and insights into clear frameworks, testing plans and creative briefs.
You’ll play an integral role alongside a small, entrepreneurial team responsible for taking Florastor to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a curious and analytical mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in a digital environment and be a strong team player.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Director will be responsible for assisting with accelerating the growth of our flagship product, Florastor and any future products we add to our portfolio. This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing.
How you’ll make an impact:
Lead brand planning initiatives, including market research, competitive analysis, and brand positioning to differentiate our brand in the market
Oversee development of compelling marketing materials including advertising campaigns, digital content and more to effectively communicate our brand
Lead development of innovation pipeline and commercialization process, partnering closely with Global HQ and local co-manufacturing partners.
Act as point of accountability for marketing performance, establishing clear goals that meet with broader business objectives. Regularly report insights and results to senior management and stakeholders
Adopt an analytical approach to continuously test, learn, and enhance our marketing efforts across all digital and physical platforms
Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to consumer & customer engagement
Lead development of strategic programs that unlock new business opportunities based on a thorough understanding of the marketplace, consumer, and Biocodex innovation & capabilities
Stay up to date with industry trends, consumer behavior, cross-cultural US/global trends and insights to uncover new growth opportunities with high impact propositions
Directly lead a team of marketers and indirectly lead the broader marketing & sales teams
Cultivate strong relationships with key internal and external partners locally and globally
We are excited about you because you Have a Bachelor’s Degree required in relevant field, MBA preferred
Have at least 10 years of CPG marketing experience. OTC medicine or nutritional marketing experience preferred with time spent on brand planning and creative development
Have significant experience within innovation including concept generation to commercialization
Have at least 4 years managing people and are a natural people manager who enjoys nurturing and developing individuals and teams to meet their full potential
Have high emotional intelligence and self-awareness, which encourages positive energy, passion and fun throughout the organization
Have experience owning, measuring, and managing budget, forecasting, and performance metrics and KPIs
Have a strong proficiency in using data analytics to drive marketing strategies and evaluate performance
Are a scrappy and enthusiastic proactive problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit
Have Proficiency in Nielsen or IRI
Have demonstrated leadership skills, learning agility, problem solving, project management, analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
Are detail-oriented and ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proven creative acumen with a track record of crafting effective and innovative marketing strategies to deliver exceptional growth
