Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
We have recently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry.
As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Security Specialist to join our growing security team.
Open Position: TUESDAY - FRIDAY
3PM - 1AM
Job Summary :
Security Specialists maintain a secure environment for all Global Power Components employees, temporary employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site- specific policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities : Complete case reports on property loss, property damage, personnel incidents, vehicle accidents, etc.
Complete daily logs and reports.
Conduct CCTV Surveillance of all GPC campus locations.
Patrol property on foot and/or vehicle, securing personnel, assets, building, gates, and perimeter in all weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct leader.
Minimum Required Education and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Prior security experience preferred.
Skills and Knowledge: General knowledge of the usual duty requirements of a security officer with an emphasis on confidentiality, critical thinking skills, and de-escalation tactics.
Basic computer experience with Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, or be mobile for extended periods of time.
Effectively move items up to fifty pounds.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment drug testing and physical test.
