Functions as a team leader for the development and execution of key technical strategies and activities that support the overall business strategy in the Protein & Retail Segments. The role involves applying scientific and engineering principles in various domains including research, development, production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and waste reduction. Collaborates closely with Supply Chain to enhance product formulation activities and commercial fulfillment efficiencies. This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Countryside, Illinois and some days remote.
Work Environment
The role is based at the headquarters in IL, requiring on-site work with the flexibility of remote work days after the initial period. Regular travel to oversee the Arkansas plant approximately once a quarter is required. The Director will have at least 10 direct reports and may also need to visit client sites.
