Duties:
Manageand implement effective drive supply chain strategies for material managementglobally and for rig inventories and fleet spares, both onshore and offshore;oversee and develop the diverse group of supply chain professionals bothonshore and offshore that monitor and support the integrity of the company'smaterial management systems; implement effective supply chain strategies andtactics in line with budget guidelines to support materials managementactivities; analyze and report on the effectiveness of rig inventories andfleet spares; ensure that Supply Chain processes and procedures are properlydocumented and published; ensure team and individual goals and objectives areclearly defined and support the overall supply chain and corporate strategicinitiatives as they relate to materials management; serve as primary point ofcontact for both internal and external audits; collaborate with third partyconsultants to prepare monthly and annual property tax reports; collaboratewith the business division in order to ensure the most cost effective andtechnically correct solution is chosen in order to maintain quality of parts,equipment, or services and to improve delivery where possible; provide ongoingcost reduction and process improvement to the business without jeopardizingquality; responsible for the development and generation of defined materialsmanagement KPI's in line with corporate guidelines; mentor colleagues withproblem resolution and guidance as required; ensure change of managementprocesses are effectively executed when required.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience inthe job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupationworking in the offshore industry and applying knowledge of offshore drillingequipment; utilizing experience in movement of materials, material handling, orlogistics; experience in supply chain and materials management; or conductingcycle count reconciliation or inventory auditing.
