QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Health Care Administration/Management, Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Leadership/Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a closely related field
AND two years of full-timeexperience providing project coordination support as part of a team, preferably in a mental health or social service program.
A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the above disciplines may be substituted for one year of the required experience
Proven track record of planning detailed objectives, meeting goals, and completing projects on time while adapting to a constantly changing environment is REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinator Specific
1. Project Management Support:
Support efforts to monitor project deliverables and project timelines, identifying necessary supporting documents, and acting as the liaison for the team.
Track project progress and milestones, identifying potential risks, and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
Support the team in project development by compiling pertinent scope of work information and research specific subject matter areas.
Proofread and edit written materials (project plans, reports, external and internal
announcements, etc.)
Support Strategic Initiative Officer with administrative tasks such as coordinating project meetings, preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, maintaining project documentation, and communicating updates.
2. Empowerment Center Training (ETC) Coordination:
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and develop training plans and materials.
Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue selection, and participant communication.
Create/monitor/revise registration sites for virtual trainings.
Generate reports to track registration numbers, revenue collection, cancellations, and manage registration requests.
Facilitate communication between trainers and participants to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness and collecting feedback for continuous improvement
3. Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Grant Management Support:
Support with researching and identifying potential grant opportunities that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and request for proposals (RFPs), including gathering required documentation and completing application forms.
Maintain accurate records of grant-related documents, including budgets, funding sources, and reporting requirements
Agency Specific
Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency's policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values
Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
Utilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills
Perform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
All agency staff must remain physically fit enough to keep themselves safe. All direct service workers must be able to keep themselves and children safe by demonstrated ability to perform crisis intervention techniques in compliance with agency standards. All agency staff must be able to perform the following physical task:
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Use hands to handle, and/or feel objects, tools, and controls
Stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
Talk and hear
Move quickly/run
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Drive a car, if applicable to position
Employment At-Will
Employment at the Agency is terminable at-will, which means that employment may be
terminated at any time, without cause or reason, by either the employee or the Agency. In
addition the Agency may also demote, layoff, transfer or reassign employees at any time at its
sole discretion without cause or reason.

Starting Salary Range: $32.00 - $34.96 DOE
