The Key Responsibilities of this position.
The Area Manager is to successfully and safely run the daily operations of the warehouse. They will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team members; coordinate with logistic managers on the receiving of products; and maintain excellent customer service. Other warehouse duties may be required, as directed by the supervising manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate team members' activities, including training and evaluation on receiving, storing products, customer service, and engagement.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure safe and efficient delivery of products.
Manage "in-house" receivables, cash handling, etc.
Supervise team members engaged in loading/ unloading of trailers.
Maintain optimal level of customer service and assist to resolve any customer issues.
Monitor loading and unloading of products to ensure safe transfer to various locations within the warehouse.
Maximize profitability and setting/ meeting sales targets, including motivating team members to do so as well.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed for maximum safety and efficiency - including proper handling and storage of products.
Liaison with Operations Managers
Liaison with General Manager
Expectations to Apply:
Problem-Solving: demonstrate how they would solve a real-world issue that they could encounter at Nellis Auction.
Tenure: Minimum 2 years of management experience
Project Management: Show an example of projects that you completed that satisfied each of our three company uniques (Operational Excellence, Great Customer Service, and Creating a Great Place to Work).
Team Development: Must have led a team of 10+ employees as a manager, and an example of what they have done to mentor/develop team members in their previous roles.
Manager Endorsement: One referral letter from previous supervisor
Proven Results: Explain KPIs they improved at their previous companies and their role in driving it.
Business Acumen: Prove an ability to analyze data and use that information to guide actionable objectives. Examples would include looking at a KPI report and being able to determine opportunities for improvement and coming up with ideas for actions to take.
Communication: Proven abilities in group/public speaking, one on one interactions, upward communication, and how you deliver bad news.
