We are currently seeking a skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Chicago team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and deploy trading strategies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that encourages global teamwork and rapid feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders to conceive, develop, and implement trading strategies.
Translate quantitative models into production-ready code and optimize existing algorithms to enhance execution efficiency.
Conduct research, propose improvements, and perform backtesting on current trading strategies.
Work with other technology teams to seamlessly integrate algorithms into the overall trading system infrastructure.
Stay current with industry advancements and technological trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a proprietary trading firm.
Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques.
Deep understanding of financial markets, derivatives products, and trading strategies.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
