Business Development and Capture Manager - This individual will lead efforts to identify, qualify, and capture strategic federal business opportunities across civilian agencies. The ideal candidate will have a record of identifying and positioning for success on range of opportunities; working collaboratively across multiple business units and delivery teams; and making significant contributions to proposals.
What You'll Be Doing
Identification and qualification of leads from relationships, customer engagement, acquisition forecasts, and other sources that advance AIS corporate goals and are in line with its growth strategy.
Development of a network of key partners to engage with for strategic pursuits.
Lead capture of business unit and corporate priorities including alignment of solutions, staffing, and proposal content.
Identify critical contract vehicles and related opportunities over a 24-36 month time horizon.
Provide strategic insight into core agencies including understanding their priorities, acquisition strategies, preferred vendors (including their tech stack), and spending trends.
Make significant contributions to proposal content upon RFP release.
May also include: Development of partner and client-facing marketing collateral
Identification and support of targeted industry and federal marketing opportunities
Fostering relationships with industry technology partners
Profile of Success At least 8-10 years of experience, 3 of which delivering cloud-based solutions to federal agencies.
Experience winning opportunities $50M or more.
Experience across the business development lifecycle.
Experience bidding and successfully winning federal IT-related contracts.
College degree in a relevant field.
Desirable Skills Experience delivering solutions and/or capturing new work at the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, and/or Treasury Department
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, and/or Dynamics
Experience with generative artificial intelligence models
