**Research Program Coordinator at St Vincent Medical Center, in Portland, OR**

**Full-Time/Day Shift**

The Program Coordinator supports all stages and facets of observational research projects for the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research + Data Science (CARDS) within the Providence Heart Institute Oregon. The Program Coordinator provides support and assistance in the following key areas: (1) Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and renewals, (2) creation and submission of research abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, and (3) project management, coordination, and documentation.

**Skills needed for this role include:**

- Maintaining high levels of organization and efficiency to handle multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities in a busy working environment.

- Initiating, researching, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.

- Working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, as the point person for project management, coordination, and communication.

- Understanding the details of research processes, documents, and submission requirements.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree.

+ 2 years - Project management or coordination experience.

+ Experience facilitating groups involved in collaborative projects.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master's Degree.

+ Experience working in a research-related position.

+ Experience with IRB requirements and processes.
