Mechanical Engineer_

Actalent is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a Subject Matter Expert remote opportunity supporting a top client in the food/beverage/agricultural industry.
+ Support mechanical and equipment engineering deliverables on build projects
+ Oversee technical issues between project teams and other groups (i.e. engineering service providers (ESPs), construction, etc.)
+ Ensure compliance of Cargill’s mechanical and equipment engineering standards, policies, and procedures
+ Contribute to safety and engineering recommendations to enhance performance, cost, efficiency, and schedule
+ Support multiple capital projects at once

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
+ Minimum of seven years of related work experience
+ Prior Work Experience with Petro/Chem Process or Power Generation Facilities
+ Experience with complex and multi-disciplinary engineering projects
+ Professional Engineering License is preferable, but not required.
+ Experience with Process Industry Practices (PIP)
+ Experience with ASME and API Codes/Standards
+ Experience with developing specifications, datasheets, and bid packages for equipment
+ Experience with rotating equipment under pressure
+ Experience with static and heat transfer equipment
+ Ability to work in a remote environment with virtual teams
