3F Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead our adaptive reuse and multifamily renovation projects across Chicago. This is an opportunity to oversee complex projects from mobilization through closeout for a company focused on transforming underutilized buildings into vibrant residential and commercial spaces.If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Start Date: ASAPLocation: Chicago, IL Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 10+ YearsKey ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day field operations for adaptive reuse and multifamily renovation projects, from mobilization through final punch list and project closeoutCoordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and workforce schedulingDevelop and maintain the project field schedule, ensuring subcontractors meet milestones and sequencing is efficientEnforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance, including safety meetings and site inspectionsReview construction documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate field execution and quality controlCoordinate with the Project Manager on RFIs, submittals, field changes, and unforeseen conditionsMaintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and ownership representativesConduct daily site reporting and manage punch list completionEnsure compliance with Chicago building codes, zoning requirements, inspections, and permitting processesRequired QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience managing construction projects, with a strong emphasis on adaptive reuse and multifamily renovationsDeep knowledge of Chicago building codes, permitting procedures, and local construction practicesProven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate complex jobsite logistics in dense urban environmentsDemonstrated experience managing construction schedules, sequencing trades, and maintaining jobsite productivityStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address field conditions and challenges quickly and effectivelyExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)Preferred QualificationsDegree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with historic preservation or landmark building projectsLEED Accreditation or familiarity with sustainable building practicesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchProfessional development opportunitiesA collaborative, entrepreneurial team environmentThe opportunity to shape the built environment in some of Chicago's most dynamic neighborhoodsIf you are a seasoned construction professional with a track record of leading adaptive reuse and multifamily renovation projects in Chicago, we encourage you to apply. xhyhwjd We are hiring!Hiring #Construction #Superintendent #Chicago #ConstructionJobs #AdaptiveReuse #MultifamilyConstruction
