Superintendent

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Reporting to senior leadership, the Superintendent will lead and grow our commercial construction program by overseeing multiple large-scale projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for multiple commercial construction projects, including ground-up and renovation work.

Manage project finances, including estimating, budgeting, change orders, and profitability.

Develop schedules, allocate resources, and drive projects to meet key milestones.

Serve as the primary client contact and resolve project-related issues.

Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, design teams, and permitting agencies.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Lead and mentor PM teams while implementing construction best practices.

Support design coordination and constructability reviews using CAD/BIM tools.

Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management.

Improve estimating, scheduling, risk management, and project control processes.

Qualifications

8+ years of commercial construction and project management experience leading large-scale projects.

Experience as a Project Executive, Senior PM, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role.

Strong background in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, bidding, permitting, and contract management.

Proven ability to lead PM teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Experience working with GCs, subcontractors, procurement, and contract negotiations.

Strong financial management skills, including budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.

Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving abilities.

CAD/BIM experience (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) preferred.
