Now Hiring: Director of Nursing
Join our team at Montereau and lead our Health Center nursing team to provide top-tier care for our residents. As the Director of Nursing, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of excellence in resident service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
** Leadership Excellence: * * Lead and manage our nursing team to deliver exceptional care. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with regulations and equitable administration of policies.
** Efficiency Enhancement: * * Develop and implement strategies to maximize team efficiency and productivity. This includes organizational design, cross-training, succession planning, and emergency preparedness.
** Collaborative Leadership: * * Contribute to strategic, financial, and operational plans. Foster positive interactions with peers and collaborate seamlessly with other Leadership Team members.
** Training and Development :** Partner with HR to create and implement training programs. Focus areas include leadership development, performance management, teamwork, and safety.
* *Regulatory Compliance: * * Stay updated on state and federal regulations. Take corrective actions to maintain compliance and communicate changes effectively.
** Effective Communication: * * Foster open communication between residents, families, and staff. Address concerns promptly to ensure high-quality care and satisfaction.
** Quality Assurance: * * Oversee a dynamic QA program. Identify and resolve problem areas effectively through tracking and trending.
** Incident Management: * * Manage incident resolution and reporting to regulatory bodies. Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with regulations.
** Proactive Engagement:* * Attend regular meetings to stay informed on operational issues. Provide rapid response to anticipated challenges affecting nursing care.
** Interpersonal Skills: * * Interact effectively with diverse teams, residents, and third-party associates.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in LTC, assisted living, or hospital environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of nursing services regulations and experience in interdisciplinary team environments required.
- Previous leadership and administrative experience in healthcare setting necessary.
- Experience in Life Plan Community preferred.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
- Current State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
