About the Role
The VP, IT Support Services at the company is a strategic leadership role with a primary focus on the organization's IT support services domain. This includes setting the mission and vision for the IT support services function, leading the development of strategic solutions, and managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT support services. The VP will be responsible for the entire organization's IT support services, including the coordination and supervision of internal and external operations, such as a 24/7/365 service desk and production operations. As a member of the senior IT leadership team, the role also involves contributing to the development and execution of the organization-wide IT strategy and ensuring its alignment with the business strategy.Candidates for the VP, IT Support Services position are required to have a Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 15 years' in technical and business roles, including at least five to seven years in leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical knowledge in IT support services and experience in large, cross-functional teams. Key leadership competencies include the ability to make decisions with broad implications, foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and effectively solve complex problems. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
