Location : Fort Worth, Texas
We are seeking a Tactical Systems Engineer who will have extensive experience in military platform avionics and mission system integration. The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance. Positions at various engineering levels will be offered depending on the experience level of the candidate.
Responsibilities:
Experience in military platform avionics and mission system integration.
Experience with test development and execution.
Experience with UAS waveform specifications (MIL-STD, STANAG-4586, CDL, etc.).
Experience in developing customer deliverables including data flow models and system design documentation (CAMEO).
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
Autonomous and Advanced Teaming, Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T), Targeting, Weapons, EO/IR Sensors.
Modular Open Systems Architectures, Model-Based Systems Engineering, Open Standards (e.g. Future Avionics Capability Environment (FACE)).
Specific experience with autonomous and advanced teaming, Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T), targeting, weapons, EO/IR sensors.
Knowledge of modular open systems architectures, model-based systems engineering, and open standards such as the Future Avionics Capability Environment (FACE).
Demonstrated ability to think critically and intuitively about engineering problems.
Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to changing project requirements.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively work with a diverse team of experienced professionals, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to define cross-functional interfaces and conduct air vehicle level trade studies as designs move from concept to production.
Develop test requirements to drive systems integration lab and flight test aircraft instrumentation design.
Perform hardware and software integration testing of multiple systems operating together in a systems integration lab.
Coordinate between engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - or a Science, Technology, or Math (STEM) discipline is required. A major in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering is preferred.
