Works under minimal supervision by offering assistance to customers, helping to locate items, ringing up sales, stocking shelves, answering phone calls, and merchandising products. Working with POS software to place and receive orders. Able to work a flexible schedule when needed for EMIC/KCM bookstore event support. Helps coordinate volunteers when needed
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet and serve customers in the store.
Answers incoming phone calls.
Ringing up sales, voids, refunds, and exchanges using the POS software.
Assist in tagging and pricing products, including any other product information required.
Responsible for the balance of cash drawers and opening/closing duties.
Handle customer service requests.
Responsible for having bookshelves properly stocked for all EMIC and KCM events held on the property.
Works with KCM and EMIC departments to supply materials for projects and training.
Orders KCM/EMIC products for re-stocking bookstores.
Work with the Manager and other sales associates to place orders for products from outside vendors, creating and receiving POs.
Able to reconcile receiving records for accounting if needed.
Provide direction and handle proper paperwork for returning defective and overstocked products.
Organize, train, and prepare for annual physical inventory. Maintain good inventory tracking at all times during the year.

Requirements: Education and Ministry Experience:
· Working Knowledge of Christian books and publishers helpful.
· Good telephone etiquette.
· Good math skills are required.
· Must be people-oriented with good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with various groups of people.
· Knowledge of KCM/EMIC products.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule with Sunday/Wednesday evening services and special events or meetings.
· Must have excellent customer services skills, including:
1. Greeting, smiling, and making customers feel welcome to EMIC/KCM
2. Communicating a place where Love is King.
3. Being flexible to assist the needs of Pastoral staff, customers, co-workers and supervisors whenever needed.
· Must be detail-oriented and strong in organizational skills.
· Must be able to understand and use a computer.
· Must be a team player, working together with all employees.
· Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook Programs.

· Standard office equipment
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Able to lift 30 lbs
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:
? Ability to make sound decisions in critical situations where an emergency situation may require advice
? Must stay spiritually alert and prepared for any number of situations that may involve a crisis or tragedy
WORKING CONDITIONS:
? Will be required to be flexible with schedule, and work hours will vary
? Work will be done from the bookstore and office
OTHER:
·Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
· Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division.
Must maintain a good attendance record
Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support the leadership of EMIC.
Must be a regular tither to EMIC.
Must possess a servant’s heart and operate as an Armor Bearer.
Sensitive to the needs of others, which includes love and commitment to the members and congregation of EMIC and Kenneth Copeland Ministries staff.
Interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with diverse groups of people, as considerable skill and diplomacy in communication.
Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside departments or groups.
Self-motivated and takes the initiative.
Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
Operates with pre-emptive thinking and must be discerning and able to make good judgment calls with minimum supervision.
