Shifts- Days 6am – 6pm

Pay Rate: $17.00

$500 sign-on bonus paid out after thirty days on assignment.

$500 retention bonus paid out after six months on assignment.

The Formulations Technician l is under supervision, performs all responsibilities as a multi-skilled, multi-tasking individual in an empowered work team. Performs a variety of required tasks including preparation of packing solutions, reactive monomer mixes and intermediates to support the production of contact lenses. Maintains current knowledge and adheres to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications. Vigilant for maintaining compliance with Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of Monomer Prep equipment including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Additionally, responsible for raw material receipt, inventory management, and maintaining hazardous waste rooms. Executes all preparatory steps required for successful monomer transportation.

Performs Formulations activities including production of batches, 5S and good housekeeping practices (50%); Perform equipment preventative maintenance and troubleshoot to resolve Formulations’ system issues (20%); Maintain current and correct inventory levels in SAP daily and ensure your working area is fully stocked with materials prior to next shift start (15%); Follow and execute Formulation documentation for adherence to GDP/ GMP/ISO/PSM/EH&S requirements (5%); and Perform other related duties as assigned by management (10%).
