Responsibilities Enter, acknowledge and respond to customer orders into the system within 24 hours of receipt
Relay customer complaints to the appropriate department(s) within 24 hours of receipt
Communicate problems and concerns to management within 8 hours of discovery
On-time delivery metrics and customer satisfaction
Cost variance on inventoried items
Maintain pricing accuracy, price breaks, and accurate vendor information
Serve as a point of contact to customers
Resolve customer issues and log corrections in a timely manner
Plan and forecast orders
Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely delivery of orders
Expedite orders as needed
Adherence to company ISO processes and procedures
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to support acquisition of inventoried and non-inventoried items
Follow up on open POs to assure vendor on-time delivery
Communicate with other departments on order status
Maintain IQMS (PO data) with accurate information
Support organizational objectives of lean manufacturing utilizing min/max ordering levels or visual Kanban tools
Utilize IQMS to calculate proportions, percentages, area, and volume
Solve practical problems and deal with multiple variables where limited standardization exists
Track monthly sales and provide projections to the Management Team
Conduct End of Life evaluation for exiting customers and coordinate mold and material removal
Other duties as assigned
