Project Manager – Embedded Technology

Are you a Project Manager looking to work at the heart of innovative embedded technology and product development?

We’re working with a growing technology business in Carrollton, Texas, looking to add a Project Manager to its engineering and product development team.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations and customers to help take embedded hardware and software products from concept through development and into production .

You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable working in a technical environment and coordinating projects involving electronics, embedded systems, software, hardware or electro‑mechanical products.

What You'll Be Doing Plan, coordinate and track embedded hardware and software development projects

Build and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, schedules and dependencies

Coordinate activity across engineering, manufacturing, operations, sales, production and external partners

Act as a key point of communication between internal teams and customers

Lead or support project meetings, customer updates and cross-functional reviews

Track risks, issues, actions, resource constraints and changes throughout the project lifecycle

Work with engineering teams to clarify technical requirements, feasibility and project risks

Keep stakeholders informed of project status, priorities, blockers and upcoming milestones

Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes, decision logs and action tracking

Identify roadblocks early and drive actions through to resolution

Support projects through development, production readiness and customer rollout

What We're Looking For We’re open to speaking with Project Managers at different stages of their career, but ideally you'll bring:

Experience within project management, technical project management, project coordination, engineering operations or product development

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confidence working with engineers, customers and cross‑functional teams

A proactive approach to identifying issues and driving actions through to completion

Strong project planning, scheduling, documentation and follow‑up skills

The ability to operate effectively within a fast‑paced product development environment

Experience working with embedded systems, electronics, firmware, software, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, mechatronics or electro‑mechanical products would be particularly valuable.

Experience with project management tools, Microsoft 365, issue‑tracking systems and modern AI‑enabled productivity tools would also be beneficial.
