Under the general direction of an Information Technology (IT) Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I will act as a web application developer. The incumbent is responsible for the analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of enterprise-wide, highly complex electronic information processing applications. The incumbent will provide an advanced level of knowledge in systems analysis, project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining business knowledge expertise for systems supported. The projects assigned to the incumbent's team have enterprise-wide and statewide impact to support the business functions of the State Controller's Office (SCO).
