Territory Manager, RoD

Overview

Summary/objective

The Territory Manager, RoD supports the Repair OnDemand Sales Team. This position grows and manages all sales activities for the Repair360 product within an exclusive geographical market area to independent used car dealers that have their own reconditioning processes and/or facilities and other high value business targets as assigned.

Essential functions

Identify all used automotive dealers in the designated market area

Demonstrate product offering and have a complete understanding of the system

Create and maintain positive partnerships with incoming and existing target accounts

Gain a thorough understanding of the business model and serve as a liaison between the customers and the organization

Contact customer locations through personal visits, phone calls and other methods to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Exceed sales budget

Collect and regularly update information from clients

Utilize all appropriate means to research, respond to and resolve customer issues and concerns

Work with Operations Managers to provide stellar customer service to customers

Responsible for flying to or driving to various customer locations within the assigned geographic area

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills

Automotive Dealer experience a plus with a focus on Fixed Ops

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Solid organizational and follow up skills

Demonstrated ability to attain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

Good presentation skills

Excellent report writing skills

Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Supervisory responsibilities

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.

Physical demands

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment with frequent visits to various automotive dealership environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. This position is responsible for driving their own personal vehicle to various locations with their assigned geographic area. Physical requirements also include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.

Travel required

This position may require up to 50% travel. May include air or vehicle travel outside the local area and overnight.
