Senior Business Systems Analyst lead the evaluation of an organization's business processes and systems, leveraging their extensive experience to identify and implement advanced solutions for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. They play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders to gather complex requirements, analyze intricate data, and create comprehensive documentation outlining advanced system specifications. Senior analysts take a leadership role in facilitating communication between business users and IT teams, ensuring that high-level technology solutions align strategically with organizational goals. Their responsibilities often extend to overseeing testing processes, providing expert training, and offering substantial support for the successful implementation and continuous improvement of sophisticated business systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather and document business requirements for software development projects.
Analyze and translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure a shared understanding of project requirements.
Conduct analysis of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Work closely with Quality Assurance and Engineers to review story requirements and validate system functionality
Provide support by troubleshooting issues, conducting impact analysis, and recommending solutions
Review system enhancements with project stakeholders
Create flow diagrams and document technical solutions
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis and Agile methodologies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
6 years of experience as a business systems analyst or Financial industry background.
Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement
Adept at identifying and solving business problems through innovative and practical solutions
Effective communication with stakeholders to understand and convey technical information in a clear manner
Proficient in collecting, documenting, and managing system requirements from stakeholders
Understanding of technology (highly complex multi-platform applications including databases) and systems to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions
Strong communication and documentation skills to create comprehensive reports, manuals, workflows, and specifications
Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery
Being flexible and adaptable to changes in project scope, requirements, or technological advancements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
Prior production support and troubleshooting
Scrum Master Certification
Experience with Agile principles.
Experience as a QA or Developer

Base Salary Range
$84,000.00 - $118,575.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
