Job Designation Subject Matter Expert (SME) Manager works closely with the Business Growth Managers, Program Managers and project teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and met within the delivery of all our products. The SME Manager supervises, organizes, trains, and resources the core group of SMEs for mission success. Job Core Responsibilities Manage SME group on daily tasks. Responsible for identifying and translating customer requirements into specific, actionable and measurable performance requirements. Assist in the development of product acceptance test plans. Oversee and conduct testing to confirm products meet customer requirements. Lead in the development of small arms simulation courseware to support training needs and meet customer requirements and deliverables. Host and deliver product acceptance events with customers. Schedule and resource SMEs for product demonstrations. Ensures demo systems are tested, packed, and shipped properly for demonstrations and tradeshows worldwide. Work location Mon-Fri in our Suwanee, GA office. May require some travel to 20%. Job Specifications Required Competencies Minimum of 10 years Military or LE experience serving in a leadership role Qualified and competent weapons instructor (military or LE) Qualified and competent Smalls Arms Range Officer (military, LE or civilian qualification) Strong knowledge of multiple small arms used by US and international forces Familiar with support and indirect fire assets Effective at organizing and coordinating personnel and resources Strong verbal and written communication skills Competent in the use of MS Office tools Excellent presentation skills Desired competencies Strong understanding of military doctrine. (USA, USMC, USN, USAF, USSF, USCG) 15 years of Military or LE Experience Strong experience in the use of weapons simulators to deliver training Experience in stabilized and un-stabilized gunnery Experience in development of weapon policy Experience in training development and training needs analysis Understanding of military procurement process Company Website inveristraining.com This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
