Overview
First line representative responsible for handling inbound/outbound call inquiries, processing transactions, and facilitating answers to a range of inquiries. Responsible for fax, email and phone order processing and resolution of issues that may prevent orders from shipping. Handles customer requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Fosters the growth of a strong customer base through creating positive interactions and building strong relationships
Responsibilities
Process orders, returns, credits/re-bills, invoices, etc
Provide pricing, updates on orders, tracking information, confirmation, etc
Handle customer complaints in accordance with Complaint Procedure
Communicate/follow-up with customers, sales force, etc, via email, fax, and phone
Interface daily with co-workers within department and other departments, including Senior Management
Make outbound calls as necessary
Handle customer escalations
Answer front door and deliver mail
Qualifications High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; 3 or more years' experience in a professional customer service role
Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Is consistently at work and on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, and order processing systems with typing skills of 50 WPM or greater.
