Essen ial Func ions: Under he general direc ion of and repor ing o he Dean of he College of Business & Economics (CBE), he incumben will be responsible for independen performance of he day- o-day communica ion ac ivi ies for he College. he incumben oversees design of all CBE marke ing ma erials including bu no limi ed o: crea ing, designing and upda ing CBE marke ing con en and colla eral via marke ing channels (e.g., prin , rad10, newsle ers, web, social media, e c.).; suppor he College's mission; develop me rics, conduc analyses, and repor on progress and value of he College's marke ing and social media effor s; oversee marke ing con en ; oversee con en produc ion including College pho ography and videography and manage digi al archives of pho ography/videography; develop and design marke ing con en via he College's web and mobile marke ing presence; oversee he College's social media s ra egy which includes he adminis ra ion of Linkedln, MailChimp, wi er, FaceBook, Ins agram, SnapCha and o her CBE accoun s for he dual purpose a rac ing prospec ive s uden s and engaging wi h curren s uden s and alumni; oversee web marke ing and search engine marke ing on behalf of all CBE programs; use crea ed con en o op imize he College's websi e for search engines; work wi h College's I Cs and Universi y Social Media Ne work Group; and revise websi e con en as necessary; lead redesign effor s on behalf of he College; work closely wi h senior s aff o develop and execu e he marke ing and communica ions s ra egy; help ensure consis ency of messaging and voice across all media channels; be responsible for helping o develop and bring our brand for he College o life hrough he varied communica ion channels and marke ing colla eral including bu no limi ed o e-newsle ers, dean's annual repor , marke ing campaigns, public rela ions, and ex ernal and in ernal communica ions; will collabora e wi h and suppor he effor s of various college con en providers o ensure ha he College's communica ions con en is consis en wi h he mission and s ra egic ini ia ives of he College and Universi y; and will produce wri en and graphic/visual con en o help promo e and share he College's ac ivi ies hrough in erac ion wi h s uden s, facul y, s aff, donors, and alumni. Provides lead direc ion o a marke ing communica ions eam of graphics and web designer, marke ing assis an (s).

Required Qualifica ions & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalen from an accredi ed four-year college or universi y wi h a degree in marke ing, communica ions, journalism, public rela ions, or rela ed fields, or similar cer ified coursework in applicable fields of s udy. he incumben mus have knowledge of Dream weaver, Pho oshop, Illus ra or, Acroba , InDesign, or o her sof ware and working knowledge of curren web sof ware, da abases and browsers including H ML (e.g., Drupal 8). he incumben mus also have working knowledge of copyrigh and o her applicable laws per aining o publica ions and he news media. he incumben mus have excellen wri ing/edi ing and verbal communica ion skills wi h a solid founda ion in composing communica ion for various media vehicles; graphic design skills; self-relian , sound reasoning skills, good problem solver, and resul s orien ed; excep ional in erpersonal skills and ne working skills, including s rong consul a ive and persuasive skills o work wi h in ernal and ex ernal cons i uen s; s rong leadership skills; s rong organiza ional skills, and excellen online research skills including use of search engines. he incumben mus have demons ra ed abili y in draf ing, edi ing, and proofreading documen s wi h advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoin , and Ou look; communica e complex subjec s wi h simple, direc wri ing ha inspires audiences o ake ac ion; analyze and selec per inen fac s and in egra e hem in o he appropria e communica ion channels; conduc marke analysis, marke segmen a ion, and marke ing campaigns as well as marke ing campaign analysis ha includes marke ing ROI a rack record in projec managemen and implemen a ion, wi h he abili y o successfully manage a varie y of key ini ia ives concurren ly; self-s ar er, able o work independen ly and en repreneurially; enjoys crea ing and implemen ing ini ia ives; energe ic, flexible, collabora ive, and proac ive; be a eam leader as well as a eam member reliable, wi h s rong a en ion o de ail and a s rong work e hic; effec ively organize work in order o mee deadlines and ime- ables; and o independen ly iden ify oppor uni ies o improve communica ion s ra egies and processes. he incumben mus have a demons ra ed in eres and/or abili y o work in a mul icul ural/mul ie hnic environmen . Desired Qualifica ions: Mas er's degree from an accredi ed four-year college or universi y in marke ing, communica ions or rela ed field. Four years of experience in he field of marke ing and/or communica ions. Experience in an academic se ing; experience working wi h H ML email sof ware; and experience in running an in egra ed marke ing campaign. Proficien in use of in erac ive marke ing echniques such as video sharing, social ne works, email marke ing and blogs.
