DTQ (Design for Test and Quality) team is chartered to drive design and dft changes and improvements for better circuit marginality and product quality and lower test cost. DTQ team seeks Staff Circuit Design Engineer to support its operations. A unique opportunity of dealing with the most advanced STCO/DTCO techniques, cutting-edge design and technology processes and interacting with the respective stakeholders within the whole company and suppliers' eco-system from early phase to production ramp and pursue flawless design qualities.

Job responsibilities include:

Circuit spice simulation for critical paths timing vs STA benchmark/comparison including nominal and statistical impact analysis , simulations for RO circuits , on-chip monitors Si vs CAD analysis, simulation for major blocks, and verification of functionality to optimize custom circuit for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals.

SRAM circuits marginalities studies including compiler and bitcell level

Read/write margins and Yield/Vmin correlation .

Memory compiler level benchmark / product level SRAM sensitive issues and its correlation with Silicon with CAD. HD/HC/HS Synchronous and no synchronous memory ( sram ) marginalities study focusing on Silicon vs CAD on Product ramp up.

Technical support for Memory, Fundamental IPs Test Chip Qualification in terms of content , organizing and preparation of technical specs for IP test chip qualification focusing on product needs, interfacing with product design teams, and according to test requirements for pre and post aging silicon qualification.

Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in STEM or related field

5+ years of circuit design engineering experience with SPICE, HSpice, or related or MS with 4+ years of circuit design engineering experience with SPICE or related, PhD with 2+ years of circuit design engineering experience with SPICE or related.

Preferred Q ualifications:

Design, development, and building of digital circuits for custom blocks including data paths, RO circuits, SRAM, register files, memory compilers, and caches.

Creation of block level DFT models, development of memory test tools, and improvement and automation of flows and methodologies to ensure streamlining of design.

Cross functional collaboration to report design progress and to collect, track, and resolve any performance and memory circuit design issues.

Optimization of performance, power, and area, reduction of leakage of circuits, and characterization of individual memory instances and memory compilers.

Work with architecture and layout teams to design circuit for best functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities.

Scripting skills and automation skills are a must.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$144,501.00-$217,311.00 S al ary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
