Who You Are
You have a minimum of 2+ years professional Java software development experience with Core Java/JEE design patterns, data structures, and multi-threading, including familiarity with newer Java features such as lambdas and streams. You have excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design concepts and SQL and/or NoSQL DB technologies. You have an understanding and have worked with REST/JAX-RS/Spring Web Services using JSON.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or 2+ years of relevant work experience is required.
2+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and debugging scalable and distributed micro services.
2 or more years of software programming experience in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, SQL
Preferred Experience
Excellent knowledge of building cloud-native and server-side RESTful applications, APIs and automation tools.
Understanding of Software design patterns, SDLC, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Building Data Reporting, Monitoring, and System Analysis Dashboards using Elastic Search, Kibana.
Developing functional and unit test cases by using Junit, TestNG, and Cucumber frameworks.
Hands-On experience on application logging, reporting, and monitoring tools like Grafana.
Working on code version control systems like GitHub and project tracking and management tools like JIRA, Kanban, and Confluence.
