REPORTS TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The GLAM4GOOD Foundation is a leading nonprofit that repurposes unused merchandise to address clothing and self-care insecurity in America. The organization bolsters self-esteem and empowers dignity while diverting industry excess to create opportunities for people in need.

GLAM4GOOD's Director of Marketing and Communications (DMC) will develop, implement, and oversee the organization's strategic plans for marketing, communications, creative content, and public relations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, this role will use its expertise in multi-channel platforms to build awareness for GLAM4GOOD's giving campaigns, community impact, brand collaborations, and fundraising efforts. The DMC will leverage their insights into contemporary trends and proven strategies to advance the organization's overarching objectives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator with a vibrant personality & is a passionate advocate for social impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the planning, development and implementation of all internal and external plans for marketing and communications, including social media, website, blogs, pitch decks, presentations, impact reports, company newsletters, print and digital content, email marketing, public relations, collateral, advertising, and design assets

Understands the organization's past and current programming to develop and enhance marketing and communications plans with corresponding budget that promotes mission and impact, while prioritizing opportunities for growth and engagement

Researches, develops, and pitches ideas for events and campaigns around cause-awareness and giving holidays

Becomes intimately familiar with the GLAM4GOOD brand - understanding its core community, mission, and impact

Works cross-departmentally to ensure brand identity is present and consistent across onsite gives, partnership campaigns, volunteer opportunities, speaking engagements, and fundraising events

Attends and participates in GLAM4GOOD gives, industry events, and internal meetings to develop a rapport with team leads, Board of Directors, community providers, brand partners, and industry leaders

Coordinates design, production, distribution, and correspondence of marketing, brand, and PR materials to ensure growth efforts are properly supported

Identifies, manages, and amplifies client, philanthropic, and public-facing content to enhance opportunities and promote GLAM4GOOD's impact

Coordinates design needs, production, and distribution of branded materials

Works with and further develops GLAM4GOOD's roster of graphic design, photography, content development, and videography freelancers/contractors to enhance GLAM4GOOD's marketing, design, and PR needs

Manages overall schedule and tracking of philanthropic submissions, cause-awareness/giving holidays calendar, and networking/speaking opportunities

Oversees GLAM4GOOD website and social media platforms - identifying trends, fielding outreach, keeping content fresh and information current, and managing community engagement

Develops, implements, and manages structure for tracking and storing photo, video, and design assets

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing/communications, preferably in a nonprofit organization

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field

Proven results in developing and implementing innovative multi-channel marketing and communications strategies

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills

Experience in digital marketing including SEO, PPC, email, social media, and analytics

Experienced in managing social media platforms and analytics technologies to engage a diverse audience

Data-driven approach to measure impact and maximize ROI of marketing spend

Fundraising and development marketing experience a plus

Familiarity with website programming and backend management

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines

Passionate and energized by supporting individuals impacted by clothing and self-care insecurity
