The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish and manage strong working relationships with key business partners.
Develop scope and define backlog items (Epics/features/user stories) that guide the engineering teams.
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
Solve product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analyses to stay on track toward business deliverable commitments.
Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integrations and dependencies.
Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features, so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
Represents the team in front of stakeholders, clients, or users
Understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities, and other new trends.
Work closely with Product Management and SLT to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
Escalate usability and performance issues and maintain ownership of issues through resolution.
Continuously assess, identify, and present opportunities to improve the customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role required
Payment Integrity experience is strongly preferred
BA/BS in computer science, IT, business, or related field (or equivalent experience and certifications preferred
Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies.
Excellent planning and time management skills
Management of stakeholders and their expectations.
Ability to quickly assess issues and react to changing circumstances and new information.
Attention to Detail / Discipline / Active listening
Knows how to define the product roadmap
Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve.
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
Must be comfortable working in a fluid environment
Manages multiple concurrent projects and priorities
Travel is required but minimal.
