Responsibilities
Peraton's is seeking a Software Engineer's to join our team.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and test software applications and computer systems. The Collaborate with customer on all software initiative including the transition of legacy software application or the implementation of new software tools or applications.
What you will do:
Responsible for research, design, update, or development of software consistent agency software development guidelines and consistent with configuration management processes.
Develop and maintain documentation on all software under the purview of the contractor as authorized by the customer.
Must use system/software management; engineering and development; and secure-coding practices consistent with agency standards and information security best practices.
Develop and direct software system testing and implementation procedures, and associated documentation.
Must apply rigorous security safeguards for all software development projects.
Ensure all software purchased or developed seamlessly integrates with open, Agency approved and secure protocols for single sign-on.
Provide development support for Cloud Software as A Service (SaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) to support applications running on a cloud infrastructure.
Apply data security and application security for all software to meet agency mandated standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 11 years, or master's degree with 3 to 9, or PhD with 3 to 6 years' experience, or significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Experience providing software development in an AWS or Azure environment.
U.S. Citizen; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualification:
Must have active Secret Security Clearance.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), or Azure Developer Certification.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
