ProCare Funding is seeking an experienced, outgoing, and ambitious Business Development Specialist with knowledge of the healthcare industry in the personal injury sector in the Southern California region (Los Angeles and Orange County). The right candidate will operate as an individual contributor that is responsible for prospecting, building, and strengthening new and existing relationships. They should excel in customer service with a proven track record for meeting and exceeding sales goals. The ideal candidate has personal injury experience and knowledge either in the legal industry, insurance industry, medical management or medical sales.

The BDS will provide our customers with training, updates them on new services, hyper-responsive to the internal and external customer, and is a solution specialist. They will have great presentation skills that help when there is a need to educate clients on our services and solve problems in order to successfully close deals while always providing superior client experience throughout the process.

CANDIDATES MUST BE BASED IN CALIFORNIA WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MARKET.

Responsibilities:

Develops new relationships with providers and promotes existing provider relationships to grow the business

Participates in retention with customers to keep ProCare as their preferred funding company.

CRM: has knowledge and experience in using a CRM product

CRM: maintains sales pipeline management with contacts, opportunity, and leads.

Manages several meetings per week with clients and delivers results.

Know and understand the needs of priority accounts within assigned territory.

Collaborates and problem solves with the internal support departments to maximize sales team potential.

Willingness and ability to travel as required to networking conferences that will require occasional overnight stays.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay well-informed of industry developments.

Assist senior management in the development and updates of the region

Meet and exceed sales quotas

Desired Experience:

Expertise in opening new account relationships

Relationship management including follow-up on sales opportunities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in conducting client presentations

Ability to efficiently work from a home office

Requirements:

High School or GED required

MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA

Sales experience required

Business Administration degree a plus

Nice to Have: Experience working with personal injury attorneys or other professionals a plus

Nice to Have: Experience working with a health care professional whose office handled personal injury clients

Possess a high level of drive, self-motivation, and goal-orientation

Must be organized, confident and passionate

Ability to travel throughout the state of CA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Outlook, and CRM product

Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in a field related to personal injury preferred.

Minimum two years in business development, sales in the legal or medical business industries .

Requires experience with Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn, use, and teach mobile and web-based sales and project management applications.
