The Warehouse Manager performs, plans, and coordinates the daily activity of Warehouse personnel and functions. In addition, the Warehouse Manager will communicate Apria values, strategies, and objectives, while assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. T his position nurtures culture and engagement while overseeing strategies focused on improving the overall experience of employees and patients .
Comply with Joint Commission, federal, state, and local requirements as they apply to warehouse functions and medical equipment/supplies * Oversee the shipping, receiving and distribution of goods
* Managing inventory
* Review orders delivered to patients for accuracy
* Perform quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods
* Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations
* Maintain files on all equipment, conducts routine and periodic inventory counts on warehouse and vehicle stock
* Responsible for ordering necessary equipment to ensure the branch is adequately and routinely stocked
* Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat, and safe manner
* Responsible for the proper storage and cleaning of equipment
* May answer patient inquiries regarding product information

Conducts staff meetings regularly to review business performance and requirements * High School Diploma or GED
* Retail, warehouse or inventory management experience a plus
* Minimum of 3 years leadership experience required

* The noise level in the work environment is varies based on the locations or activities proximate to which can range from low to high.
* There is moderate exposure to dust, fume, mists, and odors.
* Temperature ranges from normal indoor climate-controlled environment in buildings or vehicles and various outdoor conditions and temperature extremes encountered throughout the year in a variety of US states.
* General lighting is generally provided via florescent lighting indoors, and natural lighting outdoors, and low light conditions consistent with outdoor and/or night working environment.
* During off site travel events the employee may be exposed to higher noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, with moderate potential exposure to moderate dust, chemicals, fumes, and odors, as well as cryogenic and cleaning agents.
* During off site travel events the employee may be required to ride in company delivery vehicles and accompany employees on deliveries and enter patient homes.
* Will be required to wear various personal protective equipment consistent with the hazards encountered in this role.
* Will be required to use hand tools for assembly and repair, material handling equipment, cutting, carrying devices, cleanup kits or equipment.
* May be required to work with cryogenic fluids requiring special precautions and PPE.
