The Main Responsibilities of a person are:
Perform credit analysis for new loan requests and oversee existing portfolio.
Prepare annual reviews, loan modifications, and track financial information.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
Mentor junior analysts.
Analyze financial statements, management profiles, business/product cycles, and historical operating performance.
Complete credit underwriting for mid-size to large commercial loan requests.
Prepare and review in-depth written analyses for relationships of various size and complexity.
Perform analysis and research for the annual review of all borrower relationships.
Make comments/recommendations on loan terms and structures to minimize credit risks.
Work with junior analysts to enhance credit analysis skills.
Respond to inquiries, questions, problems, and other credit issues.
Perform in-depth appraisal reviews to ensure compliance with appraisal regulations and the Bank's internal policy.
Represent the Bank in the community and at business and professional association functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years work experience.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred.
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good knowledge of appraisal and environmental regulations/requirements.
Deadline and detail oriented.
Ability to deal with and show discretion in confidential matters.
