**General Description:**
**Tolin Mechanical** , an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced **Handler** to join our **Denver Branch** . We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.
This position requires someone who is self-motivated, professional, and a solid team player. The Material Handlers are responsible for performing tasks that support the logistics team and support the technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills, a hard-working attitude, and ability to follow and demonstrate safe practices are essential to success in this role.
**Responsibilities for Material Handler**
* Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials and equipment
* Status reporting on all matters affecting service operations
* Use of assistive devices such as hoists and lifts
* Use of protective devices such as padding, and straps
* Ensuring a safe work environment
* Operation of company vehicles to deliver materials to other branches
* Securing building before and after business hours
* Supporting logistics team with other tasks as needed
* Internal relations and collaboration with other teams
**Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications** :
* 1 + years of experience in a similar role
* Willingness to work flexible hours and long distance driving in the mountains
* Values and displays exceptional customer service
* Experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal departments, vendors, and customers
* Certification to operate a forklift
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Over 18 years of age
* High School diploma or GED
* Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
* Strong written and verbal English skills
* Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
**Compensation & Benefits:**
Average Starting Wage: $15/hr. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
