WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager toplay a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering technical projects within our IT organization here at Braze. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring successful project outcomes while adhering to timelines and budgets. Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
Ensure timely execution of project tasks.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and results.
Address stakeholder concerns and maintain positive relationships.
Budget and Timeline Management:
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
Enforce project deadlines and ensure adherence to schedules.
Mitigate risks that may impact project timelines.
Team Leadership:
Supervise project team members, fostering collaboration and productivity.
Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance as needed.
Strive to unblock project deliverables by pulling in team resources, escalating to stakeholders when necessary, and holding stakeholders accountable
Promote a positive work environment.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
Conduct thorough testing and validation.
Implement best practices for project documentation.
WHO YOU ARE
Proven experience managing technical projects, preferably in software development or IT.
Experience managing all aspects of company office build-outs
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and interpersonal ability.
Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Gantt Charts, Spreadsheets) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
Experience handling changing priorities and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $63,000 and $76,500/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $70,000 and $85,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
