On the Software Engineering, Revenue Sales, and Loyalty team reporting to Director Solutions Architecture, you will support projects for our Group, Meetings & Events initiatives.

How You Will Make An Impact
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like
Design, document, and maintain micro-services for new and existing Groups, Meetings & Events initiatives using the defined Agile methodology and Atlassian tool set (Jira, Confluence).
Lead software developers and QA testers to design, develop, and deliver industry-leading solutions with outstanding quality and performance.
Help fill gaps throughout the development lifecycle to ensure Hilton meets delivery expectations.
How You Will Collaborate With Others
Collaborate with internal and external technical and functional experts to estimate, design, develop, and support approved efforts.
Actively participate in code reviews.
Accept and demonstrate the core principles of development practices and ensure these principles are followed throughout the team.
Communicate updates and resolutions to customers and other partners
What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of
Solution Development for approved efforts
Ensure quality and consistency of the software development across the system and providing day-to-day technical guidance to the development teams.
Research code when needed, document and explain findings.
Help fill gaps throughout the development lifecycle to ensure Hilton meets delivery expectations.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You Have These Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
Four (4) years of combined professional software development experience designing, developing, and delivering software solutions and/or software development teaching experience
Four (4) years of experience working in an environment with Kanban Agile development, DevOps, and Security considerations, using Splunk, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
Four (4) years of experience with Java, REST APIs, JSON
Collaborative teammate - ability to understand different viewpoints, create impactful relationships, and earn trust.
Experience troubleshooting issues and resolving systematically
Travel as needed - 25%
It Would Be Useful If You Have
Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
Seven (7)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
Experience leading software development teams
Experience with Swagger Codegen
Previous hospitality experience
