Position Summary: We're looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team, working closely with our Field Project Managers in an in-office capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders. This role involves supporting the design team, overseeing project schedules, estimating, and ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with Field Project Managers to ensure profitable project execution.
Assist the design team from initial estimates to project commencement.
Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of construction documents.
Manage job boards and construct schedules to meet project deadlines.
Lead construction progress meetings and maintain clear project schedules in Buildertrend for team and client accessibility.
Facilitate acquisition of necessary permits and coordinate site walks for permit hand-offs.
Obtain estimates from subcontractors, perform project takeoffs, and create material lists.
Handle procurement of interior/exterior doors, patio doors, and windows.
Conduct preliminary research on rough materials and products.
Maintain transparent communication with subcontractors and track related costs.
Review permit documentation for accuracy and compliance and conduct necessary checks.
Evaluate and compare bids from trades and subcontractors and ensure Field Project Managers adhere to project milestones.
Qualifications :
Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
10+ years of construction project management experience preferred
Framing experience required
Strong grasp of construction processes and documentation
Proficiency in MS Office, PDF handling, and construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend)
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and solve problems
Attention to detail and accountability for project success
Pay Range : $85-110k plus bonus potential
