BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Sr Data Analyst will support the organization by focusing on: Report Development, Quality Control, and Product Management, Process Improvement and automation. They will also be responsible for enhancing and maintaining Power BI and Data Visualization tools. This highly visible position will have the opportunity to work across the organization, with multiple layers of employees and management, and be part of building out a Data Analytics department for the organization.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES : This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines:
Develop and establish reporting to track and maintain operations. Up-to-date monitoring of operations with the goal of implementing continuous improvements.
Streamlining and automating reports using G Suite, Microsoft Suite, WinShuttle, etc.
Ensures data accessibility and distribution by supporting ad-hoc data requests, creating and automating reporting and managing routine distribution of regular reports to both leaderships.
Work collaboratively with Management Team to evaluate, design, execute, and monitor business processes across all departments ensuring that the outcomes align with strategic goals.
Provide day to day operational support and troubleshooting for applications.
Develop SQL queries to manipulate analyze and report on large data sets
Data extraction, creation, manipulation of multiple files and or databases
SQL/PL SQL code tuning and Query optimization.
SIT/UAT testing and identifying data quality issues.
Analyze reporting requirements, study existing reports for layout, formula and calculations, derived values, restrictions, attributes, and variants.
Support informed decision-making throughout the company by ensuring high data quality & integrity, building reports & dashboards, and conducting analyses on historical data.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business preferred.
With a degree at least 5 years in data analytics required.
In lieu of a degree at least 7 years of data analytics required.
Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Power BI, Python, Java, C#/C++, Power Platform, Smartsheets, Winshuttle & SAP/BW experience.
SQL experience, including the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, indexes, sub queries, conditional joins, case statements, etc.)
Physical Requirements
Typical office environment.
