Baptist Medical Center Southbank is currently hiring for a Full-time Procurement Supervisor to join our Strategic Sourcing team at our Baptist Southbank Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a Full-time, Days Shift opportunity.
Buyer I General Responsibilities:
Provides direction, leadership, and supervision to Buyer I's within the department
Supports procurement operations through all daily transactional functions including requisition approvals, purchase order conveyance to vendors, order expediting, backorder research and item substitution support, exception and variance management, and customer service
Full understanding of MMIS, purchasing and financial reports/processes
Ensures training occurs for new staff members to ensure optimal efficiency on all aspects of their job
Consistently seek opportunities to improve performance
Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Procurement and Systems and Content
Hybrid telecommute option following 90 days and based on leader discretion
