Job Summary : We are seeking an Optical Transceiver Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements and provide technical support for our optical transceiver products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, evaluate product performance, and conduct product testing.

Responsibilities :

· Work with customers to understand their needs and requirements and provide technical support for optical transceiver products.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, product management, and marketing to develop and launch new products.

· Evaluate product performance and conduct product testing to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, application notes, and user manuals.

· Provide training to customers, sales teams, and field application engineers on the use and application of optical transceiver products.

· Identify and resolve technical issues related to the use of optical transceiver products.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to optical transceiver products.

· Participate in industry forum and standardization organization.

Qualifications :

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in optical transceiver product development or application engineering.

· Knowledge of optical transceiver products, including their use and applications.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and optical test equipment.

· Experience with programming languages used with optical transceiver and communication equipment a plus.

Location : San Jose area or Seattle area.
