As a Principal Technical Program Manager in the Product/Engineering/Design (PDE) organization, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects. You will be responsible for driving the PDE release process across all business units within product and engineering in close concert with cross-functional teams by aligning technical strategies with business goals and ensuring timely and efficient product launches while building scalable and streamlined processes.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include Collaborate with stakeholders and PDE leadership to define release scope/payload, objectives, and requirements
Develop detailed release plans, timelines, and processes
Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies
Proactively address challenges to keep the quarterly release on track
Understand the technical aspects of the projects, including engineering principles, methodologies, and technologies
Facilitate technical discussions and provide guidance to the team
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, reporting release status, milestones, and issues
Lead regular release status meetings and ensure documentation is up to date
Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to best practices
Manage changes in release scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved
Maintain release documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, and design documents
Our Vision of You Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience in technical program management, particularly in engineering
Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
$150,000 - $210,000 a year The base salary range for this role is $150,000-$210,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience.
