Job Summary
The Business Delivery Office partners with all areas of the enterprise to take initiatives from conception to implementation to continued value measurement. The Senior Project Manager manages cross functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outcomes on time and within quality and budget specifications. The Project Manager plans, organizes, monitors and leads the delivery of two or more projects at a time to meet defined requirements. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager or Director of Portfolio Management. They have the responsibility to define, plan and lead projects in support of enterprise portfolio strategy.
Essential Job Functions
Project Management: Develops and leads all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues. Drives the day-to-day leadership of the project and small program efforts while adhering to standards and sponsor expectations to manage the timeline, scope and requirements to meet the project goals. Collaborates with project team to understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business goals. Monitor projects progress on an ongoing basis through regular stakeholder meetings, status reporting and issues and risk tracking and mitigation to keep project on course. Continually manages project expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders. Effectively and appropriately escalates risks and issues to limit impact on project delivery. Works with project stakeholders to ensure business as usual plans are defined for post-project deployment. Develops and maintains lessons learned input into the project repository for utilization on future projects. Creates or leads the creation of best practice documentation around new and undefined processes and contributes to process improvement initiatives to improve project delivery.
Vendor Management: Participates in and or drives vendor selection and proposals for evaluation by appropriate stakeholders as required by project scope. Defines statement of work and specifications for requested vendor services. Oversees vendor performance and deliverables.
Coaching and Mentoring: Coaches project team members to clarify assignments and deliverables. Serves as a mentor and advisor to other project managers on project issues related to client relations, project quality, risk management and industry expertise. Provides both formal and informal training to EPMO staff and project stakeholders, as necessary. Coaches project team members to clarify assignments and deliverables. Mentors less experienced project managers on Bread Financial project management standards and business practices. Conducts assessments of troubled projects as requested by leaders. May be asked to take over a troubled project with the goal of ensuring project success.

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3 - 4 days per month.
In-office requirements are subject to change based on business needs.
This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.

Minimum Qualifications: Five or more years Project management experience following standard methodology or process in services or information technology.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field
Certification: PMP Preferred
Five or more Project management experience following standard methodology or process in financial services, information technology, or the credit card industry

Typical Starting Range:
$97,900.00 - $177,400.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California: $112,600.00 - $221,800.00
Colorado: $97,900.00 - $186,300.00
New York: $107,700.00 - $221,800.00
Washington: $102,800.00 - $204,000.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
